Gr.1 win for sire LOPE DE VEGA on Kentucky Derby day

PROGRAM TRADING by LOPE DE VEGA recorded a big point in the undercard of the Kentucky Derby last night German time. The four-year-old, trained by Chad Brown, competed under Flavien Prat in the $1 million Turf Classic Stakes at Gr.1 level and showed a thrilling performance in his first start of the year. Entering the straight, the colt squeezed through a hole along the inside rails and found the finish line by the shortest route, where he had a neck advantage over the favourite from the Godolphin quarters.
